38 Days Left
"The creative is the place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you'll discover will be wonderful. What you'll discover will be yourself. -Alan Alda
My mind is fill with so many thoughts. So many things I need to pack. The need to learn as much Chinese as possible. A part of me is only half in the world and the other is wandering off to exchange. Lately my mind has been totally focus on language studies and visa applications. Tomorrow I'll be jetting off to the police department for a criminal record check (visa requires one).
My mind is racing. One moment, or one day, I'll be totally excited for exchange. Then the next second I'll be scared. Afraid. Nervous. Stressed. And I secretly hope that time will slow down and Taiwan won't come as fast as it coming now. When I went to Japan I experience this type of feeling, just before I left, but not to this magnitude. I know I will overcome this fear. I have already done it once. Then their is the fear of hate and abandonment. I fear I'll hate Taiwan or my host family will hate me. Then I fear my mother and I will loose connection or I will miss her unbearably.
I guess I need to look at this with the best possible mindset. The mind sets the tone and mood for everything you do. If you keep a positive attitude, your more likely to have a awesome trip then thinking you'll absolutely detest it (without giving it a shot). For a inner look of what I fear check out this post on my other blog.
I graduated on the 29th =D One chapter in my life has close and now a new one is beginning. All new adventures, trials, emotions and hardships to face and overcome. I was lucky enough to spend my graduation with some great people who I got to call friends. I wish, since I move to my school only a year and half before graduation, I could of gotten to know you all better.
We are all going in our different direction. For some of us that either nursing or taking online course =D For others that movie away, back to their home town, and take university there. For me that packing up my life, saying goodbye to all these wonderful people for a year.
Graduations was a blast. From the ceremony, in which I could not help shedding a tear for knowing that my childhood has come to a end, to the banquet and dance where we all wore princess dresses, ate wonderful food, acted as if the paparazzi were at our beck and call and gossiping and laughing about various stuff. I want to thank all of you =D I will never forget this time we spent together =D

See!!! One of them has a butterfly on it XD Mom wants me to slowly start packing things into it but I think I will wait a week or two until I start to do that. A)I want to finish buying what I need b) I need to clean/clear my room and c) I am going on vacation next week so there is really no point to start now.
Other then exchange I have just been enjoying summer XD Today I went to a farewell party for one of my friends. She is moving back home for University. I am going to miss her D= But I now have a excuse to go visit her in her city =D The party was fun and it was a joy to be around people. We ate, talk and open presents. I gave her a notebook, nail polish, card, book & book mark. She gave me, for my 18th birthday (which is next week) a purse, perfume and a cute little woolen vampire doll =D

Lately packing has been on my mind. Also buying stuff for the trip has been on my mind. I have a list in my mind, but I need to seriously write it down. Because if I don't I'll either forget something or realize it to late. I have been buying summer clothes, since Taiwan's tropical, and other things (gifts for host families, ect;) . One of the things that I have crossed off my list is luggage. I bought two, fairly good size (and hopefully will work well), luggage. See the image below =D
