2011 is here everyone!!! It's the New Years, the beginning of something new. And to me it mean something more. It mean the chance to go on a exchange to a different country for a whole year. To experience a new culture and language. 8 months from now I'll be boarding a plane to a foreign country and trying something new. I'll be in school hearing it from a different language and perspective. In 8 months my Exchange journey will begin. And all of this is happening in the New Year of 2011.
It struck me at midnight that this was the 2011-2012 turn to do a exchange. That the exchange I would be going on isn't a year and half away anymore but less then 8 months.
a lot will change in the next year. In three months I'll be going to my first orientation. Six months from now, hopefully, I'll be receiving my diploma from High School. And in eight months I'll be starting my exchange. I can't predict what will happen after August. But with all the excitement, nervousness I'm reading to take on something new.
I'm going to do my best to document my journey on exchange through this blog and maybe even youtube vlogs as well. Who knows what will happen eight months from now.
If you haven't already guessed, I still don't know where I'm going. Originally they said I'd find out before Christmas, but that never happened. I suspect the Rotary people know but haven't been given the OK's to release the information. I'm praying that I find out in January as that's when the rest of the world seems to be finding out their country selection (I kind of can figure by Culture Shock). But if I don't I'll either find out during the orientation or in March.
My orientation is at the end of April and I'm super excited.
What else can I say. I change the layout. I thought I needed something new. I decided that before I leave I'll get a custom made one done.
Hmm I don't have a tagboard as it says on the sidebar. instead I have a Question box. ASK AWAY.
I also don't have my google followers anymore :( It wouldn't work with this layout. And I really like this layout, and I kind of don't want to change just for that.
I HAVE A COMMENT BOX!! I'm happy about that. I love getting comments. So again comment away.
