I'm Going To......

Happiness lies in the joy of achievement and the thrill of creative effort.~Franklin D. Roosevelt
JAPAN!!!! I found out today at 9:45PM that I would be going to Japan with Rotary Youth Exchange for 2011-2012. I'm so happy. I've been sweating, stressing over where I would go. Today was the first day since my district interview that I haven't thought about the exchange at all. It was also the day I receive a call of where I would be going. Japan was my first choice. I actually thought that I wouldn't get my first choice, since Rotary doesn't always give you your first choice. So when I found out that I got my first choice I was shocked. The only thing I could say over the phone was: "Thank You...Thank You...Thank You", I was freaking out.
Funny story: See the district interviewer phoned me at 9:30PM but I didn't get to the phone in time. But my mom asked me who called, and I told her. The name sounded familiar but still unfamiliar. So she asked me to check the voice mail. I did...there was 2 messages. 1 from my school's answering machine...and second being from the interviewer. I basically listen to half the message and then when she said to phone before 10PM I hung up and quickly phoned. No Answer. My heart was beating so fast. I decided I would phone once more at 9:40 and that would be it. So I re-listen to the message (the whole thing) and found out she would tell me where I would be going once I talked to her on the phone. Now I was literally freaking out. So I msn my bff and told her. She tried to calm me down, but it was to hard. So I phone at 9:40 and the interviewer answer. And she told me I was going to Japan , that I got my first choice, and congratulation. I was like: "Thank You..Thank You" and basically going crazy with excitement. So when I hung up off the phone I went on skype and talk to my bff and told her. I also told my mom, dad, facebook, culture shocked and my blog. So many people XD I also e-mailed my host sister!!!
I'm so happy!!!! Next Orientation, which is at the end of April.
